Job Description

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing support in the form of recruiting, employment processing/orientations, employee relations efforts, supervisory support for disciplinary actions & terminations, compliance and general assistance around employee functions at Newly Weds Foods plants.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee all employment and recruiting efforts for the plant.
  • Provide general support to site management (e.g. production, maintenance, quality assurance) on employee relations issues.
  • Assist with implementation and communication of Company policies, practices and procedures to site employees and management.
  • Complete/conduct site employee complaint investigations.
  • Foster and support a positive working relationship with plant management and related site team leaders.
  • Ensures application of Human Resource procedures, practices to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Require a Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
  • Minimum of five years' experience, with a minimum of two years as a supervisor
  • Strong communication, analytical abilities, organization skills and general knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
  • Experience of Human Resources management in a food manufacturing context is preferred
