Accounts Payable Clerk
Classification: Accounts Payable Clerk
Compensation: $60000.00 to $65000.00 yearly
Robert Half Finance is actively searching for a full-time Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join an innovative team. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Within this dynamic department, you will have the opportunity to advance and grow your career. The full-time opening for an Account Payable Clerk is located in the Walnut Creek, California area!
Responsibilities
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
- Fullfill full-cycle A/P
- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
- Execute additional tasks as needed
- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Excel Formulas experience desired
