Ultimate Staffing Services is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant for our client in the electronics industry. The position is conveniently located adjacent to both I-680 and I-880 in South Fremont. This is a temp-to-hire position with hours of Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The HR Assistant will be responsible, but not limited to the following job duties:
-Full-Cycle contractor and short-term temporary staffing recruitment and vendor management.
-Manage human resources information in systems, auditing data, and preparing reports and analytics.
-Analyze data and look for continuous process and standardization improvements.
-Support HR wellness program planning & implementation.
-Pilot, plan, and execute employee engagement events.
-Help with coordination of training programs and track results.
-Answer employee questions regarding HR policies/processes and guide employees to the appropriate resources.
-Support employee recruitment, onboarding, termination processes.
-Create and maintain positive employee relations.
-Assist in immigration practices to ensure ongoing maintenance of lawful immigration status and employment authorization for employees and potential new hires with our outside counsel.
-Support ad hoc projects on an as needed basis.
-Perform other related duties and tasks as required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
-Bachelor degree with some previous HR experience.
-Passion for HR career growth.
-Ability to operate in a proactive, self-managed manner.
-Strong problem solving, data analysis and analytical skills.
-Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and attend to details.
-Excellent PowerPoint/Excel skills.
