We have an immediate temp-to-hire position at our Andover area client. Role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00 pm, working onsite at the client location. Summary: Responsible for helping customers by providing product and delivery information and resolving problems as well as providing general administrative and organizational support to sales members and management needed, Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)
Document and update customer records and data base records based on interactions
Create, compile, and edit various mailing lists, data, charts, correspondence, and documents
Processes orders and quotes for products, samples, and catalogs by telephone, mail, email, fax, or in person
Expedites orders and quotes and informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
Enters data into various computer systems.
Records or electronically files copies of acknowledgements, confirmations, purchase orders, etc.
Recommends best shipping methods and computes price, discount, and shipping charges.
Responsible for updating the Quote file (Excel).
Receives and checks customer complaints.
Confers with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Receives handles and/or transfers incoming calls from the Operator Queue and Customer Service Queues.
Recommends improvements and efficiencies in daily tasks as discovered.
Handles mail distribution when needed.
Performs duties relative to shipping and UPS on a daily basis.
Handles the Accounting, Administration, and Customer Service Outlook Inboxes periodically throughout the day.
Performs general office duties such as copying, scanning, filing documents electronically, memo's, letters, ordering etc.
Matches sales reps expense reports to receipts received.
Processes electronic and/or hard copy submittals as needed.
