Sr Systems Analyst - Desktop

Summa Health System Akron, OH (Onsite) Full-Time

Summary:

Works as a team lead and participates in information gathering, analyzing and leading large and complex computer project installations for Summa Health System. Works with computer application vendors and IT&S technical staff & management to review, document, install and resolve application compatibility issues and provide on-going support. Investigates and provides technical expertise and detailed documentation to resolve desktop applications, hardware and network issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
a. Associates degree in computer science or closely related field; certificates in the field of computer networking/technology preferred.
b. Minimum of seven (7) years experience in computer technology to include advance knowledge of computer networking equipment and topology, desktop and mobile computing applications and equipment, application/software configuration and installation in a large multi-location computer networked environment of at least 1000 workstations.
c. Additional related and documented work experience may be substituted for the educational requirement or additional education may be substituted for up to one (2) year of experience requirement.
d. Proficient in installation, troubleshooting, and support of Microsoft's windows operating systems, Microsoft's office suite of products and web browsing applications

b. Analytical skills to evaluate hardware and software problems. Able to formulate and carry out plans to resolve problems.
c. Ability to monitor personal work assignments and complete them within set timelines. Engages additional support from technical staff or management to accomplish objectives effectively.
d. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
e. Ability to cite hardware, software, security, and Internet policy to end users and refer them to appropriate resources with questions.
f. Works independently within the boundaries of their work queue assignments and timelines.
g. Ability to work well within a team environment.
h. Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with customer service policy.
