Sr. Construction Manager (oconus) with Security Clearance
Construction Manager with a Top-Secret clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer.
This is a OCONUS permanent assignment.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
• Provide estimates for new work and evaluate subcontractor estimates.
• Supervise and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Work with local country personnel
• Coordinate with Embassy personnel.
• Provide regular reports on status and issues associated with the project.
• Create and update construction schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans.
• Inspect work for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Assist the PD and/or POSHO in acquiring and utilizing local construction professionals and construction contractors, ensuring scopes of services required of Local Employee Staff (LES) and local A/E firms are appropriately defined from an engineering standpoint.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Top Secret Clearance
• OSHA Certification
• Familiarity with International Building Codes
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software (P6)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Products
• Experience with construction projects OCONUS including in developing countries.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management from an accredited university in the United States and a minimum of 7 years' experience on construction projects of similar scope and value to the project supported by this Task Order
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architecture, or civil engineering degrees along with demonstrated experience in construction management will also be considered.
• Knowledge of international codes
• Experience working with multilateral or bilateral donors, such as U.S.
Agency for International Development, World Bank, Millennium Challenge Corporation, and the U.S.
Trade and Development Agency
• Experience providing quality assurance for ongoing constructions projects.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations, e.g., EM 385-1-1, OSHA
• Overseas experience preferred.
Office Location and Travel:
• OCONUS - Permanent Assignment Working Environment & Conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work 10 hours per day, 6 days a week.
• Must be willing to work off hours.
