Agile Developer Level 4 with Security Clearance
• Perform Database Administration (DBA) activities on a daily basis such as monitoring storage, database performance, and RMAN back up verification.
• Ensure standby DataGuard databases are functioning properly with minimal lag time.
• Develop strategies to migrate data between environments.
• Identify and resolve database performance issues.
• Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities.
• Support the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts.
• Translate a set of requirements and data into a usable database schemas.
• Create and update data models using PowerDesigner.
• Assist in developing database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development.
• Develop a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and has to make trades among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controls.
• Direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, Open -Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval
Required Education and Experience
• 12 years experience as a Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• 5 years of development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Required Skills
• Oracle
• Linux
• SQL
• Scripting
• *1 week of on-call support ever 3-5 weeks required after ramp-up
Desired Skills
• Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN backups, Oracle Enterprise Monitoring (OEM), Oracle ZFS storage appliance.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Relational database design tools such as Power Designer
