About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Customer Growth and Engagement Strategy - Senior Strategy and Planning Consultant in Consumer Data and Engagement Platforms (CDEP) team that will work across the Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB), Consumer Lending, and Wealth and Investment Management lines of business to develop coordinated strategies for growth in each of Wells Fargo's customer segments. In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning by making important contributions to the overall customer strategy agenda for Wells Fargo
  • Define business strategy by framing key business problems, formulating hypotheses, gathering and analyzing data from multiple internal and external data sources to build data driven insights
  • Review and analyze challenges that may require evaluation of competitive landscape and Wells Fargo strengths and opportunities. Partner with product and marketing stakeholders within each line of business to create an implementation roadmap
  • Collaborate strategically with key stakeholders to execute on initiatives - identify capabilities required for delivery, partnering with execution partners to build requirements and implementing changes
  • Communicate strategy and related business plans to management by developing recommendations and business cases for new initiatives and present to senior business leaders across the organization
  • Identify strategic business investments and alliance opportunities by building and maintaining customer valuation models, in partnership with finance and key business partners
  • Make decisions in complex situations that influence and lead the broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiative
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of strategy consulting experience
  • Experience developing well-defined plans for problem resolution from preliminary or ambiguous information
  • Experience leading programs, projects or initiatives within financial services industry
  • Experience leading and influencing in a matrixed environment with a strong collaborative style, and sense of urgency
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to make quick decisions and turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, experience identifying and engaging stakeholders and achieving deadlines.
  • Consumer Finance business experience, with a clear understanding of the current industry trends
  • Quantitative or qualitative data analysis experience
  • Experience elevating trend data into executive-level summaries that are actionable and can be measured overtime
  • Experience working with Senior Level managers
  • Creating and presenting effective and influential presentations to multiple levels of leaders
  • Excellent Excel and Power Point skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher

Pay Range

$96,600.00 - $171,800.00 Annual
