Human Resources Analyst needs for a public utilities company in Costa Mesa. Under general direction, the Senior Human Resources Analyst performs a variety of difficult and responsible professional-level technical, analytical, and administrative duties in support of the District's human resource functions including in the areas of recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, and related functions; provides information and assistance to District employees and the general public regarding human resources activities, policies, and procedures; may supervise or provide lead direction to clerical/administrative staff; and performs a variety of professional tasks in support of assigned areas of responsibility.
This is a highly experienced professional performing a variety of complex and difficult professional and analytical assignments related to the human resources function. Incumbents in this class possess a comprehensive knowledge of overall District operations and specialized knowledge of research methods and regulatory standards affecting Human Resources. Work requires creativity and resourcefulness to accomplish goals and objectives. Incumbents require specialized knowledge, abilities and skills and must exercise a high degree of independent judgment in the performance of their duties. Discretion is necessary in administering a complex and sensitive area of responsibility. Incumbents are expected to demonstrate a high level of independent problem solving.
