SAIC is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team of qualified individuals.  This position will be located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah 84056.

The EE will be part of a team that will develop and qualify prototype units that are form, fit and function replacements for obsolete units and parts.  This work includes research into existing information as well as the reverse engineering of the obsolete parts.  This engineer will also lead other engineers in these duties as there will be multiple concurrent projects.This is an opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience many different aspects of electrical and electronics engineering.


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) and fourteen (14) years or more experience or MSEE and twelve (12) years or more experience.

  • Strong analog/mix signal design experience
  • Design high-precision, low-noise analog/digital boards including voltage/current sources, power supplies, amplifiers, and ADCs/DACs
  • Conduct schematic capture and schematic reviews
  • Strong C programming skills
  • Create SPICE models for boards, run simulations
  • Support electronics & software systems integration and testing
  • Understanding of Mil-STD-641 and design for Electromagnetic Inference minimization
  • Electronics noise mitigation, isolation, shielding, grounding, signal integrity
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance 
Desired Qualifications:

Master's Degree in EE

Experience with digital and analog systems

Experience leading other engineers and integrated product teams

Experience with design of electromechanical systems

Experience with reverse engineering of electromechanical systems
