Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Security Administration Supervisor to provide Peraton employees and their clients/partners with program security support and facilitate compliance of all National Space Solutions Business Unit programs at the Herndon facility. Looking for a rare opportunity to help grow a company that went from 3,500 employees to over 18,000 employees last year and help the security team continue to enhance the security program in support of the business? If you have broad knowledge in managing classified contracts from various government agencies in an Multiple Facility Organization (MFO) structure; possess a team-oriented leadership style and enjoy collaborating with a great security team- this is the job for you. Responsiblities: * Lead a group of security professionals to deliver security operations. Support to include execution of Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Assurance (IA), Communications Security (COMSEC), and Visitor Control at the Herndon location
* Interpret and enforce government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance to program security personnel
* Interface with program managers and maintain liaison with US Government Program Security Officers
* Provide prime and/or subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's and security guidance
* Develop and revise program level security plans, procedures, and instructions
* Provide classification guidance to employees, develop, and provide security education and awareness training, conduct security briefings, lead security self-inspections and audits, and investigate security incidents
Qualifications * Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years security experience, to include 3+ years of security office administration and facility security experience.
* Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph * Must possess a high level of understanding of government security related policies, procedures, and initiatives (32 CFR Part 117, ICD 704, ICD 705, Trusted Workforce 2.0)
* Basic knowledge of intrusion detection systems, access control devices and TEMPEST requirements
* Ability to apply the foregoing knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations
* Ability to lead and build a strong security team
* Ability to work independently to identify, assess & resolve unique security situations with innovative solutions geared to facilitate contract performance within the bounds of security
* Highly proficient written and verbal communications skills with emphasis on clear and concise presentation of complex information
* Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions
* Must have a professional demeanor, good people skills, ability to communicate effectively, and be able to perform in a dynamic environmentPreferred: * Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience
* Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification
