We are seeking for a Construction Inventory Manager who will play a crucial role in our team. You will monitor, track, and record daily activities related to our inventory and create weekly reports to project all the material demands to keep up with our busy work schedule. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and restocking any accessories on each work trailer every week, receiving, processing, and paying all vendor's bills on time, and maintaining constant communication with our various vendors to ensure enough quantities are in stock for each project and avoid delays. You will also keep inventory and all items updated, record daily transfers and adjustment, create POs, recived item, bills and process vendors payments using QuickBooks system. Your goal is to optimize inventory handling procedures to support critical business goals. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and business skills, attention to detail, the ability to keep precise records, and the ability to multitaskg.
The second portion of this position involves handling customer projects as a project coordinator, scheduling jobs, and process invoices and apply customer paymentments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and Create inventory optimization procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages
- Ensure adequate levels of stock to meet customer demand and place orders when necessary
- Use existing data to forecast future demand
- Coordinate and follow shipments and deliveries
- Develop relationships with outside vendors and suppliers
- Use computer software to monitor inventory levels and demand
- Able to lift 25/50 lbs.
- Degree or Certification in business administration, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Previous experience with Inventory management.
- QuickBooks Intermidea level user ( Inventory, AR, and AP acknowledge is required)
- APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Familiarity with inventory management software ( Quick Books/Google Sheets)
- Ability to accurately report on inventory
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Strong time management skills.
