Product Lead, Ops

At The Rounds, we believe that our technology will be the key to scaling our two-way last mile logistics network and actually having the sustainability breakthrough that has been elusive for other companies. As the Product Lead for Ops at The Rounds, you will be a key leader in bringing that technology to life.

We're looking for a hands-on leader who has deep experience in building software that powers operational businesses (warehouse, delivery, inventory tracking, hourly workforce, reverse logistics). The ideal candidate has enough experience to know what the best-in-class approaches are in the space, and utilizes first principles thinking to come up with novel solutions to our unique challenges.

You will be the second product team member in our growing post-Series A startup, reporting directly to our VP of Product & Engineering and leading a significant portion of our product development. As the business grows, this role will grow to hiring and managing a team of PMs.

You Will:

• Deeply understand our operational and delivery team's needs through frequent interactions, while also understanding how everything we do rolls up to creating a service that our Members love
• Own OKRs and the roadmap for our Ops technology, collaborating with partners across all aspects of our business
• Collaborate closely with your engineering and design partners to define and deliver high-impact initiatives
• Participate in our Leadership Team, guiding the company's direction, culture, and priorities
• Lead innovation efforts to creatively expand how we add even more value to our Members via our two-way last mile logistics network

You Are:

• A world-class product leader looking to join early at what will become one of the top product teams in the US
• 7+ years PM experience, 3+ years direct experience on a product with physical operations
• Excited to collaborate in-person, working primarily either from our beautiful headquarters in Dumbo (Brooklyn), or from our offices in our primary markets (Philadelphia or DC)
• Able to challenge assumptions to generate breakthrough improvements
• Strong technically (working knowledge of SQL and create your own Mode dashboards, able to read API docs and have detailed system design discussions with engineers)
• Excited to work closely and collaboratively with a small but mighty team
• Passionate about sustainability and motivated by the opportunity to help solve one of our generation's most consequential problems

The base salary for this full-time position, which spans across multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $184,000 - 225,000 plus benefits & equity
