Ballard Rehab is seeking  PRN Physical Therapists - PT to join our Inpatient team!

The Physical Therapist  performs comprehensive evaluation and treatment as prescribed by a physician, to improve or restore a patient’s ability to function independently. The Physical Therapist plans, organizes, develops, and administers physical therapy services to ensure safe and effective treatment plans for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Assists patients and caregivers to achieve the goals and objectives of the individualized Plan of Care appropriate to discipline and clinical site.  Performs duties in accordance with department policy and procedures. The Physical Therapist adheres to the professional standards of practice and code of ethics as set forth by the State Board of Physical Therapy and American Physical Therapy Association. Promotes and maintains a positive personal and professional image.

Job Requirements

Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy curriculum with a Bachelor’s, Master’s or DPT degree. 
Must possess current California Physical Therapy license or eligibility for license in the state, and current CPR card.
No previous experience required, however, one (1) year of appropriate supervised experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred. 
Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. 
Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills to interact with physicians, patient/caregivers, ancillary staff, vendors, and outside agencies. 
Demonstrates maturity, flexibility and personal integrity in problem solving and conflict resolution.
May be required to work in other departments within clinical services as the census fluctuates.
