Job Description

Grand Coast Capital Group is a private real estate investment firm that specializes in direct lending and investing in residential, multi-family, retail, office and other commercial real estate assets.  We are a laid back, yet fast moving and super talented group of entrepreneurial minded professionals who are committed to continuous personal and professional growth and making a difference in the world. We are looking for a Junior Loan Officer that will act as the liaison between our company and its potential customers. The successful candidate will have a passion for real estate, customer-centric attitude and a willingness to help others achieve their goals in real estate.  This is an entry-level position with a clear path for growth and the chance to learn from a special team of real estate entrepreneurs and professionals. What you will do: * Be a force multiplier!  Screen inbound requests and support loan officers throughout the sales process * Efficiently manage the loan process, effectively handle customer expectations and third-party communications * Develop, organize, and curate a large sales database using best practices * Assess the needs of each customer and determine how Grand Coast can help them * Follow and improve upon the long term follow up program to convert leads into clients * Source new business/lending opportunities What competencies/skills/personality traits do you need to have? * Self-starter with a passion for real estate and a desire to learn, grow and be coached * Strong communication and sales skills, with the ability to independently source new business * Highly analytical, strong written and verbal communication, resourceful, and one who takes the initiative and is confident in one's work and abilities; * Extremely well organized with the ability to effectively multi-task and calmly handle large workload, while maintaining a positive attitude * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment * Proven track record of over achieving vetted through hard work and discipline, which is built upon desire to succeed and ambition; * Desire to innovate and implement systems to ensure operational efficiency is a necessity * Strong sense of urgency about solving problems, meeting challenging deadlines, and achieving goals Education and Experience required: * College degree in real estate, finance, or business is preferred marketing, advertising, journalism, communications or another related field * A minimum of 1+ years of experience in real estate banking, mortgage origination/underwriting, or a proven track record in business development within a high-growth and fast-paced environment * Strong technology skills and an excellent phone presence What we offer: * An opportunity to learn from a team of real estate entrepreneurs and professionals * The ability to have a real impact, move the needle and drive growth * Competitive compensation * Health Insurance * Bonus Opportunities * 401K * Casual, Professional Environment At Grand Coast Capital, you'll be challenged daily to improve yourself and take on your position as if it was your own business.  Grand Coast Capital Group sparks the entrepreneurial spirit to help people live up to their true potential.
