Job Summary/General Description

Pay rate:  $13.25 per hour
Benefits like medical, dental, vision, and company-paid life insurance begin at 60 days
401(k) begins after 90 days, and McLane matches your contribution annually

Schedule: Full-Time working between 35-40 hours a week.

McLane Foodservice Macon is located in Bibb County, Georgia. It serves customers in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves stacking, bending, lifting, and loading product from the trailer onto a hand cart or pallet jack and unloading by ramp or liftgate. It requires excellent customer contact skills and a lot of walking. As a Driver Helper you will not drive the delivery vehicle, but you will assist the Driver with the unloading of product from the trailer to our customers.

Workdays can vary, depending on the building needs. But you will typically have the following schedule: Days and Hours vary. Driver apparel will be provided.

Essential Job Functions/Principal Accountabilities

Unload product from truck to customer premises by use of ramp and 2-wheeled hand truck
Put away any freezer/cooler product that requires stacking

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have have excellent customer service skills
Bring a high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to preventing damage to materials and trailer equipment
Ability to lift and move product and pallets weighing up to 75 lbs
Undergo a background check and a drug test
