Torani is a purpose driven, people focused company with a passion for flavoring beverages across the globe. For almost 100 years we’ve been reimagining how to flavor beverages and we’re looking for our next sales manager to contribute to Torani’s growth.

We are seeking a high impact leader with the drive and focus to take the retail division into the next big phase of growth in the Western US. With a strong track record of leading and motivating broker networks for specialty grocery, you identify and prioritize key broker partnerships to grow the current business and develop new opportunities. You are passionate about our brand and with your dynamic personality, business development experience, and industry connections, your contributions result in expanding Torani’s presence and increasing revenue.

Key Success Factors: (First 12-18 Months)

Broker Whisperer:

  1. You’ve built rapport and trust with brokers by understanding their needs and providing them with the support and resources they need to be successful.
  2. Working with our broker network you ensure flawless execution of quarterly promotions. You’ve secured optimal shelf placement, product mix and improved our everyday shelf pricing.
  3. You’ve kept your thumb on the pulse of the business to understand the current landscape by connecting regularly with the broker and internal teams, and by using data analytics to successfully identify growth opportunities to focus on.
  4. You’re an ambassador of Torani at industry events, and trade shows to promote not only our product but our purpose for delivering flavor around the world.

Results Driven:

  1. Working with the Retail Director and our broker teams you work to drive double digit growth, year over year in the western half of the US, delivering both the revenue and profit objectives on a quarterly basis.
  2. Successfully increased our year-over-year same store shelf turns with our major Western U.S. retailers and grew both our grocery All Commodities Volume (ACV) and Market Share.
  3. You work with leadership and internal planning teams to provide accurate forecasting, which results in the maintenance of optimal inventory for our customers.
  4. Collaborated with the Retail Director to develop and execute clever go-to-market strategies and trade marketing programs that drive new distribution, secure promotional display space, and deliver cross-promotion support.

Attributes and Qualifications

  1. 5+ years’ experience in sales management or business development, with a focus on broker relations
  2. Proven success with account management, building value with the customer over time
  3. Strong interpersonal communication skills building cross-functional collaboration, networking and relationship building
  4. This role is based within the Western Region of the United States
  5. Ability to travel up to 60%, including overnight travel
