IT Event Support Technician with Security Clearance

Cortina Solutions is seeking an IT Event Support Technician located in Pearl City, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM for the Software, Simulation, System Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate, DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) to support Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for end-to-end life cycle development and execution, ensuring warfighter readiness and future capabilities are realized
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide customer IT support in the operation and maintenance of the virtual and physical infrastructure in deployed and on-premises computing environments
* Responsible for providing operational support across a wide-range of virtualized Microsoft Windows, client systems, and Audio-Visual (AV) services
* Provide support for a client base of Windows 10 and Office 2016/2019/Office 365 products across physical laptops/desktops and thin/zero clients
* Travel to locations within the INDOPACIFIC AoR in support of Multilateral Joint Exercises
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's and two (2)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
* Must have a current DoD IAT Level II or higher such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP+, OR CISSP etc.)
• Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba switches
* Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN software
• Experience with Wireless controllers
* Must be able to install, configure and troubleshoot ESXi, vSphere and Connection Server
* Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Must be a current US Citizen
* Must possess a current Passport and be willing to travel up to 25% Covid Vaccination Policy: Cortina does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters
Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site
