The Ultrasound Technologist produces diagnostic quality images using a variety of ultrasound techniques and equipment.  The technologist must provide quality patient care while consistently adhering to the Departmental and Medical Center policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• The Ultrasound Technologist produces diagnostic quality images using a variety of ultrasound techniques and equipment.  
• The technologist must provide quality patient care while consistently adhering to the Departmental and Medical Center policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Academic program (preferred) or JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• RDMS or RVT or registry eligible within one year of employment
• 2 years’ full time progressive employment in a dedicated ultrasound department (highly preferred)
• CPR for Healthcare Providers to be completed within 30 days of hire
