Job Description:
The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Systems Trainer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and train logistics systems for synchronous and asynchronous delivery for a distributed learning environment. In this mission, we assist in ensuring the SNS inventory is ready for deployment, providing the ability to respond 24 x 7 in an emergency. The successful candidate will interface with course mentors, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders, on the customer side and internally, and perform the actual detailed development of courseware as well as product testing, review, and maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, design, develop, coordinate, and conduct large- or small-scale inventory management system training programs.
Assist with Information Technology (IT) training for the inventory management system responsible for training and evaluating new users. Conduct remedial training and provide instruction for new procedures.
Design, develop, and prepare training and educational support materials to assist end-users in conjunction with SNS SOPs.
Assess and identify division skills or knowledge gaps pertaining to inventory management systems that need to be addressed based on observations and evaluation reporting.
Continually evaluate procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed. Revise/Update training documents based on analysis and system modifications.
Develop, implement, and deliver technical training programs for varying levels of individuals. This will include Logistics end-users and on occasion internal and external stakeholders based on responsibilities within the Inventory Management System.
Update Logistics related cGMP Desk References and SOPs based on business processes and system enhancements.
Consult with the COR and Logistics leadership to assess training needs and develop training to match these needs.
Capture inventory management system solutions and articulate to system users.
Test and correct training scripts for system enhancements.
Update and/or improve logistics training methodologies & procedures.
Develop a comprehensive trend analysis report based on actionable trends that reveals knowledge gaps, and training opportunities.
Identify innovative methods to capture assistance requests from end-users. This tool will be used as a repository to track system performance problems through resolution, testing, correcting.
Develop scripts for system enhancements, create testing methods for solving system issues, assign point of contact for testing additional scripts and system evaluations.
Identify and leverage methods to supplement current training which provides a comprehensive content development, deployment, and maintenance platform to continually increase project, program, and user productivity.
Identify and draft system requirements.
Create implementation test scripts.
Serve as the functional expert for inventory management systems.
Demonstrate an adept understanding of end-to-end business flows and the ability to translate those flows into system solution.
Basic Qualifications / Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree (or equivalent) with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Instructional design expertise and knowledge of the SNS operational environment and systems during Public Health Emergency (PHE) responses; capability to develop SOPs.
Excellent facilitation skills.
Excellent group management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Required to be on-call 24 hours/7 days a week. Must be able to respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes with a recall of 90 minutes to report to designated location. Must carry a cell phone at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with emergency response/operations.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
