Job ResponsibilitiesProcess medical records received from providers.Conduct Social Summary for Medicaid Disability Progress Reports and Category Changes with applicant/recipients.
Initiate client/provider contact for missing information.Prepare and mail correspondence to clients and providers.Refer cases to MRT (Medical Review Team) for final disability determination.
Schedule progress report appointments for applicant/recipients.Receive, review, and initiate client requests for Hearings and Appeals.
Review and copy documentation to newly created appeals cases.Navigate and enter client data into the ICES and FACTS systems.Research client data and complete Inquiry Requests from clients and third parties.
Mail and fax documentation as allowed per privacy laws.Abide by HIPPA and Confidentiality Agreements.Complete policy quizzes and Random Moment surveys timely.Additional duties may be assigned as required by business needs.QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma
Must have experience using MS Office products--adobe professional experience preferred
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to learn and follow standard business policies and processes
Ability to understand and follow Operational instructions and ask questions if there is something that they don't understand
Ability to organize and meet deadline and quality standards
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all records and communications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to use tact and empathy in dealing with people from varied backgrounds
Good work ethic
1 plus years of experience performing administrative support or program support in counseling, education, health care, public administration, social services, vocational rehabilitation, or related experience preferred. Substitution: Accredited college training in any of the following areas may substitute for the required experience on a year for year basis: Business Administration, Child Development, Counseling, Education, Health Care, Psychology, Public Administration, Social Work, Sociology, or a related area.
