Job Description

Healthcare Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a qualified individual with 1+ years of experience in the medical field to join the growing team of a hospital system located in Jersey City, NJ.

Job Responsibilites:

A typical day will be very similar to a healthcare customer service specialist! These individuals will be handling a high volume of inbound phone calls from 3 different hospitals. They will be answering questions regardin patient bills and any questions regarding patient insurances. These individuals will be handling a high volume of calls and may need to transfer calls quickly.

- Answer patient questions regarding billing, insurance issues, satisfaction issues

- Ability to answer a high volume of phone calls

- Ability to multitask

- Patient and customer service oriented


- Experience with Microsoft Office

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Insurance knowledge

- Billing knowledge is a plus

- Bilinigual is perferred!

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Pay: $14-$15/hour based on applicable work experience
