JLL is offering a unique engineering apprentice position to provide motivated individuals with training and the ability to evaluate different types of engineering work environments for approximately 12 – 18 months; with an opportunity for full time follow on employment at the conclusion of the program. The individual will spend approximately 4 – 6 months in each of the following disciplines:
Static Operating Engineer - An employee in this position works under the supervision of a Operating or Chief Engineer performing a variety of work in the operation, repair, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other related work as required in large administrative facilities. The employee will be provided a training program to understand the basic requirements to operate, maintain and repair and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, electrical, air- conditioning refrigeration, plumbing, as well as a working knowledge of all other skill areas.
Mobile engineer – An employee in this position works under the supervision of a Mobile Engineer or Operations Manager performing a variety of work in the operation, repair, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other related work as required in retail facilities within a small geographic area.
Engineering Center of Excellence – An employee in this position will work under the direct supervision of an engineer supporting Energy and Sustainability Initiatives, Project Management, Governance and Compliance.
