The Manager, Integrated Analytics Mood is responsible for generating, integrating and translating insights and analytics into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action for the Mood Franchise.
This position will partner closely with brand or franchise leadership and cross functional partners and serves as an internal consultant to the Sales & Marketing team and senior franchise leaders. This position plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results.
- Lead development and implementation of Mood brand analytics & reporting plan; proactively identify new data sources that will enhance decision making.
-Determine optimal analytic & reporting approaches, identify appropriate supplier partners, foster strong partnerships in the context of resources, timing and overall project goals.
-Provide strategic oversight and guidance to business plans, sales & brand strategies and new product launch plans / life cycle management programs.
-Drive innovation through objective analyses that uncover findings and insights across multiple data sets enabling organizational decision making and action.
-Focus on key business questions and to frame business problems into analytic plans.
-He/she will routinely provide integrated insights that drive sales and marketing strategies for their respective franchise teams as well as the portfolio.
-Champion the development and implementation of analytics approaches and methods that are innovative and examples of best practices.
-Demonstrate leadership courage to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects.
-Serve as focal point for integrating insights and analytics (forecasting, marketing research, business intelligence, and integrated analytics) for Mood brand and translating into business impact.
-Ensure seamless integration of analytics from national and subnational levels across key data sources prescription, patient, specialty pharmacy, call activity and managed care to evaluate marketing and sales tactics.
-Identify and develop key metrics to measure and monitor execution and performance through dashboards.
-Apply basic consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation for impact.
-Stay abreast of emerging healthcare & pharmaceutical industry trends and assess their potential impact on our franchise business strategies.
-Cultivate meaningful internal and external partnerships, adding value and insights for the organization; being insight driven to uncover important unmet needs.
-A minimum of a BA/BS required.
-Advanced degree preferred.
-A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience is required.
-Experience in business analytics or other analytics function is required.
-Knowledge in market research, marketing, intelligence, sales, strategic planning or management consulting is preferred.
-Experience or knowledge of pharmaceutical secondary data sources and specialty markets strongly preferred.
-Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to integrate and leverage insights and analytics that drive key decisions required.
-Demonstrated business/market experience to influence franchise/brand level decisions and strategies are required.
-General management mindset, business acumen, strategic thinking skills are required.
-Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions are required.
-Demonstrated ability to direct external resources in the prioritization and completion of deliverables is preferred.
-Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
-This position is based in Titusville, NJ and requires up to 10% domestic travel.
