The Justice, Workforce, Preparedness, and Community Development (JWPCD) Team has a broad portfolio of projects in Human Services and Emergency Preparedness.
ICF is seeking a Repatriation SME to help lead analyses of policies and procedures and design stakeholder engagement strategies to identify needs for and establish a U.S. Repatriation Training and Technical Assistance Center. You will work as part of a team to analyze policies and best practices from multiple levels of government to identify and prioritize providing training and technical assistance needs to for Federal, State, and NGO entities that support repatriation of U.S. citizens during emergency and routine situations.
What you will do:
+ Evaluate policies, procedures, resources, and requirements for human services and emergency management practices.
+ Provide input for exercises, trainings, and operations, working with State emergency repatriation coordinators.
+ Help establish policy and refine plans and processes based on identified and validated lessons learned and best practices.
+ Apply existing knowledge of federal interagency coordination responsibilities and other Whole Community partner roles Work to facilitate effective operations in response to an emergency repatriation incident.
+ Facilitate ongoing collaboration and communications with the agency office for emergency Office of Human Services Emergency Preparedness and Response (OHSEPR).
+ Prepare presentations, technical reports, memoranda, and/or other high-quality communication materials.
What you will need:
+ Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Emergency Management, Social Work or Public Health
+ Experience and knowledge of emergency management, human services, recovery services or repatriation.
+ Experience with case management
+ U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position).
What would be good to have:
+ Field-level expertise or experience supporting federal, state, or private-sector entities during an emergency repatriation incident
+ Experience with Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Administration for Children and Families (ACF).
+ Experience with the programs administered by ACF and ASPR.
+ Prior experience working in human services training and technical assistance.
+ Master's degree preferred.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final salary for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
