Employee Relations Advisor

The strategic focus of Human Resources is to deliver the talent agenda in a World-Class way. As the ER Advisor supporting AXA XL US, you will work closely with the the ER Partner and HR Business Partner team to support various employee relations topics .

* Provide guidance directly to managers of specific ER casework.
* Manage employment relations processes, administration and communication.
* Proactively and independently lead the administration of all employee relations case work to maintain organized and accurate information at all times.
* Cultivate effective working relationships with the business by advising business leaders on people-management and appropriate employee relations issues and case work, equipping them to effectively manage in the future.
* Organize and maintain accurate and timely ER record keeping, ensuring to be legally compliant with this information.
* Monitor overall business units ER case load and its effective delivery, ensuring consistency in line with legal requirements.
* Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all ER related letter templates.
* Work in close partnership with Regional HR teams and Global /HRBPS to effectively communicate the progress of casework within their business groups, agreeing appropriate handoffs and follow up.
* Ensure that all ER policies are effectively in place, maintained and communicated appropriately to all managers and colleagues alike.
* Proactively research employment legislative changes that impact the Company and provide timely updates to managers.
* Assist manager with independent ER investigations, including partnering with internal audit to interview witnesses, draft reports and deliver findings.

You will report to Senior ER Partner.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

* Experience of varied HR and ER skills, ideally in a matrix environment, preferably in financial services or the insurance industry.
* Solid understanding of local employment law keeping abreast of significant developments that impact upon the workplace.
* Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to convert data into insightful presentations.
* Excellent proactive organization skills and ability to plan and prioritize work.
* Highly customer focused, maintaining a professional attitude always.
* Shows initiative in acting and responding appropriately.
* Good communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.
* Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion and confidentiality.
* Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients.
* Highly responsive to changing demands.
* Accurate and exceptional attention to detail.
* Advanced Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
* Experience with HR databases would be advantageous.

The pay range for this position is $53,000 - $95,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
