1. Responsible for direction and control of ongoing operations of all departments, ensuring compliance with Six Sigma/LEAN efforts.
2. Manage and direct the activities of department managers, plant engineering, and HR staff by developing and reviewing operating plans, establishing objectives to ensure productivity, quality, cost control, and scheduling goals.
3. Coordinate plant and division/corporate resources to resolve material, process, and production problems in the plant.
4. Partner with the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to ensure a safe environment for all employees and visitors by developing and implementing a comprehensive safety and emergency response program.
5. Ensure development and implementation of annual operating plans and timely resolution of deviation from budget to meet financial objectives of the plant.
6. Direct and organize all plant departments to ensure adequate supply of high quality products, implementing quality manufacturing processes and control programs to meet or exceed customer specifications.
7. Develop effective plant operations, optimize production schedules, and continually improve production efficiencies, scrap rates and product quality throughout the operation.
8. Provide leadership and direction to all Plant personnel.
9. Contribute to the overall growth and development of the company through effective communications with sales and technical groups.
10. Promote positive labor relations inside and outside the plant by ensuring consistent application of company policies.
11. Ensure compliance with all facility food safety, food defense, and quality policies and procedures.
12. Support GPI’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values (Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork).
13. Support and be involved in GPI efforts for LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement programs.
14. Quality Mode Element Owner for Operational Strategy.
15. Provide all employees the ability and responsibility to stop any process that is not meeting customer quality and food safety requirements.
16. Ensure that Management provides the resources required to implement and manage the SQF system.
17. Actively engage employees in understanding and aligning activities to achieve strategic objectives.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
2. Must have eight or more years’ experience in a folding carton packaging industry or similar manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Foresight, creativity, sense of urgency, and good organizational skills.
4. Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: $129,700.00 - $172,900.00
