Case Management Supervisor

Renewal Inc Pittsburgh, PA (On Site) Full-Time

The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for directly overseeing program operations and activities in Renewal, Inc.'s work release program. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, presiding over the Program Review Team (PRT) meetings, supervising assigned case management staff, and overseeing the physical environment of the work release unit. The Case Management Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring proper program documentation and reporting procedures are followed and maintained. This individual will ensure contractual and American Correctional Association compliance is met at all times and will work as a liaison between the organization and contracting agencies such as the PA Department of Corrections and the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. This individual, under the supervision of the Director of Re-Entry Services, will conduct disciplinary hearings with reentrants and coordinate consequences with the Case Managers, in addition to ensuring reentrants are following PRT recommendations and IRP requirements such as class attendance and maintaining employment.

Education and/or Experience

Knowledge of the criminal justice system, as well as behavioral health, substance use disorders, and re-entry services. Demonstrated ability to manage resources and supervise work effectively and efficiently with all levels of management; self-starting, motivated, and adept to changing technology; Must possess strong mentoring and training skills; Should be computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field and four (4) years of related experience required. Master's degree plus two (2) years supervisory experience preferred. CAC and/or supervisory experience are preferred along with a working knowledge of chemical dependency and addictive disorders.
