AR/Collections Specialist

We are partnering with a leading distribution company in Wheeling, IL, seeking an Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with a knack for building relationships, ensuring timely payments and handling accounts with precision. AR/ Collections Specialist Responsibilities:

• Actively engage with customers to collect on past-due invoices through phone and email communication
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, handling disputes, short payments and overpayments efficiently
• Monitor accounts, manage credit limits and initiate actions on orders held due to credit concerns

AR/ Collections Specialist Requirements:

• 2+ years in accounts receivable or collections role
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• ERP system experience is a plus!
