Classification: Sr. Accountant
Compensation: $75000.00 to $85000.00 yearly
Preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting are among the key responsibilities for this role. Major responsibilities
- Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
- Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
- Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Participate in various department-wide initiatives
- Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
- Produce monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
- Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

- Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Skilled at time management
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
- 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
- Proficiency in financial auditing
- Solid understanding of CPA
- Knowledge of CPA Eligible
- Microsoft Excel experience
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
- Efficient in ERP systems
