Acceptance Insurance Work From Home - GA Full Time

Job Summary:

The Retail Training Specialist is instrumental in the delivery of instructionally sound e-learning, web-based, virtual, self-guided and live instructor-led courses for the professional and personal development of new and experienced Insurance Agents located in offices and call centers located within their assigned market area (Atlanta, GA and East TN).

Essential Job Functions:

  • Directs effective use of e-learning, web-based, virtual, self-guided and live instructor-led courses for new and existing sales team members.

  • Collaborates in the design, development and review of training materials to ensure familiarity with all content and ensure the content remains current with all system and procedural updates.

  • Assists with the successful completion of new team member pre-licensing coursework.

  • Reviews progress and actively assists new team members with understanding and demonstrated skills needed to successfully sell insurance products.

  • Delivers training in live classroom and virtual classroom environments.

  • Act as an advocate for our insurance agents addressing training and informational needs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with various training methods including; self-study, group instruction, lecture format, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role-play and computer-based learning.

  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems.

  • Demonstrated facilitation skills in small and large group settings.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects or assignments and work within a given timeline for designed projects or assignments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years’ experience training in related field

Decision Making Requirements:

  • Rearranging or reorganizing training programs and/or schedules to meet current hiring or development needs.

  • The desire to “lean toward yes” first when presented with a suggestion or need.

  • Confidence, urgency and compassion in reaching out to leaders to discuss both positive and negative outcomes from training events.

Working Conditions:

  • Home or travel office environment.  May require sitting or standing for long periods of time.

  • May require prolonged computer and phone usage with extensive and repetitive hand and eye movement.

  • Regular travel required to include auto or air travel and overnight stays.  Estimated 50% of work schedule. 

  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
