Work from Home Customer Service Representative

Candidates must be local (Hampton Roads area).

New agents will work from home using client-provided equipment (computer, headset, etc) until the building re-opens at a later date, and may need to visit the site in Newport News on occasion to receive technical support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education and Experience:

-High School Diploma or GED required

-At least 6 months customer service experience (Phone-related customer service experience preferred)

-Open availability Monday through Saturday

Work from Home Requirements:

-High Speed Internet

-Quiet, dedicated workspace in your home that supports taking customer calls free from distractions such as other family members or pets

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Stellar customer service skills - and an overwhelming desire to make lives better, one interaction at a time

-Ability to use phone and computer systems

-Excellent oral and written communication skills

-Strong listening/comprehension skills

-Ability to stay composed and objective

-Conversational, patient and confident, with a positive attitude

Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to offer customer support through phone, email, online chat or social media to customers who have questions, concerns or confusion around a particular product or service.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

-Talks to customers over the phone or email to resolve their questions or concerns

-Calmly attempts to resolve and de-escalate any issues

-Maintains and updates customer information as necessary

-Possible processing of credit card authorizations
