Job Description - Customer Service Representative

Are you looking to take your customer service career to the next level? We are offering $16/hour ($17 after training) plus a competitive benefits package and an excellent paid training program!

We partner with a national bank in Akron, Ohio and are hiring immediately! As a Customer Service Representative, you are working in a call center environment where accurate and speedy service to our telephone banking customers is the top priority.

Key Responsibilities - Customer Service Representative

  • Provide outstanding service to and builds relationships with over 100 customers every day
  • Work individually and as a team to meet and exceed established goals, i.e. call handle time goals, availability goals, customer service performance goals, sales and quality goals
  • Be responsible for resolving customer complaints and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on Huntington products, services, technology, and procedures

Required Skills and Knowledge - Customer Service Representative

  • Previous call center or banking experience preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate professional verbal communication skills, with clear pronunciation and usage of proper grammar
  • Ability to quickly resolve complex customer problems using various resources including computer systems, reference materials and multiple screens
  • Will be responsible for resolving customer complaints and disputes in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to use a headset and to sit for long periods of time
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and the Internet

Education and Experience - Customer Service Representative

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED

Benefits and Pay - Customer Service Representative

  • Pay rate starts at $17.00/hr.
  • Benefits included (Medical, Dental, Life Insurance)
  • Paid Training
  • M-F 8am-5pm in training
  • Work hours are 10am-7pm with one weekend day of work required
