The CSI Companies is currently seeking a Scheduling and Customer Service Representative for a long-term contract position with one of our clients in Houston, Texas. our client is one of the largest healthcare providers in the nation and is seeking a motivated individual to become an asset to the team. 


Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with potential overtime
Location: On-site
Payrate: Negotiable


Specific Duties:

  1. Coordinates initial patient contact and ensures patient eligibility to clinic and verifies the appropriate primary care physician is listed prior to setting up appointments.
  2. Reviews quality detail report to determine which patients have outstanding measures and need to be scheduled.
  3. Scheduling of patients with notification to PCP group of patient list and location of the mobile unit.
  4. Prepares intake forms for healthcare screening clinics to ensure providers and staff have the most up to date forms available for patient visit.
  5. Requests medical records for appropriate use by providers to assess healthcare diagnosis code assessment.
  6. Coordinates all clinic schedules with PCP group and patients including scheduling transportation or other special services as indicated for the patient visit.
  7. Initiates Comfort Care appointments for patients as needed and trouble shoots problems that may arise between Comfort Care and the patient.
  8. Coordinates with PBMs and PCP groups for patients that are not reachable as well as involving management to take next steps to follow-up with the patient.
  9. Coordinates with the providers and contracted PCP groups and ensures a timely submission of the attestation sheets to the DataRap department.
  10. Audits completed screenings to ensure all information is completed and faxes all quality forms to DataRAP for processing.
  11. Reviews charts for outstanding referral services needed such as colon screening, DM eye exam, and mammograms to make sure patient has appointment within required timeframe.
  12. Validates patients’ attestation sheets and conducts research to determine if and when a patient may need a follow-up visit with their PCP as indicated in provider progress note.
  13. Greet and register patients at the designated Covid Clinic.


Requirements:

  • Verifiable High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Three or more years of experience working in a medical office.
  • Proficient in PC software computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other departmental specific programs/applications
  • Possess planning, organizing, conflict resolution, negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Independent problem identification/resolution and decision making skills
  • Must be able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks, demands simultaneously
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
