For more than 118 years, Backus Hospital has been the primary source of healthcare services for much of Eastern Connecticut. We are home to the only trauma center in New London and Windham counties, and are the only area hospital with LIFE STAR helicopter services. We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high-quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communities.

JOB SUMMARY
Provides regional support to program total joint to enhance patient throughput, experience and outcomes. Utilizes data collected to make informed decisions to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

Education: BSN required; Master's degree in nursing or health/business field preferred


Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in a clinical area (such as orthopedics) or program management. Three (3) years of orthopedic experience preferred.

Licensure, Certification, Registration: Current State of CT RN license; Certified Orthopedic Nurse Certified (ONC) preferred. 


Language Skills: Highly effective verbal and written and communication skills
