Job Details

Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, adoption, and other related issues.
Provide legal advice, guidance, and representation to clients in high-conflict and sensitive cases.
Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and parenting plans.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law.
Manage a caseload of family law matters, ensuring timely and accurate filing of documents and court appearances.
Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes through mediation or alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Prepare and present cases in court, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and clear communication.
Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff within the firm.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and empathy in all client interactions.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Florida.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in family law or a closely related area of law.
Proven ability to handle complex family law cases, with a strong understanding of Florida family law statutes and case law.
Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Experience with alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
