Note:  This is a full-time, direct-hire,No C2C, 3rd party or H-1B at this time. This position is ONSITE in Greeneville, TN (37743).  We appreciate all of our applicants, but we are not able to sponsor at this time. Pay up to 95k.    Actuator Product Manager

  1. Responsibility Summary
    1. Increase the sales of actuators and actuator repairs.  Monitor the sales order process through delivery time and customer satisfaction.
    2. Replace competitive actuators for growth
    3. Offer technical assistance to paper mill maintenance personnel for optimal performance of our companys actuators.
  2. Specific Duties and Responsibilities.
    1. Receive customer inquiries for repairs, replacement or spares
    2. Issue customer written quotes via email attachments
    3. Follow up by phone or email on quotes for closure
    4. Enter purchase orders into company computer system immediately upon receipt
    5. Send customers acknowledgements of POs and update delivery status
    6. Check on installation date and satisfaction
  3. Profit and Loss Responsibilities
    1. Sell at list price
    2. Monitor export sales with secure credit terms
    3. Inform the VP of Business development of:
      1. threats of competition
      2. warranty issues and complaints
  4. Sales management responsibilities
    1. Prepare sales forecasts based on quotes and changes in the market
    2. Advise the VP of Business Development of needs for mills visits to solve problems
    3. Have empathy for customers’ pains, and visions
    4. Have an insatiable desire to conquor
  5. Office management responsibilities
    1. Communicated with Capital Equipment Inside Sales Manager actuator issues pertaining to shower orders.
    2. Assume responsibility that actuator orders are entered correctly and on time.
    3. Maintain shipment records in the company data base
    4. Maintain visible and on time Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for:
      1. Repair turnaround time
      2. New shipment time
      3. Throughput per month
  6. Service Management Responsibilities
    1. Survey customers with competitive actuators for:
      1. Inefficient fabric cleaning
      2. Excessive breaks due to poor Clean Coverage Cleaning
    2. Initiated to VP of Business Development need for customer visits for service
    3. Be prepared to make the customer mill visit and survey the problems
  7. Specific Demonstrated Capabilities
    1. Leadership skills as a guide with peers and managers
    2. Understanding of throughput of monthly sales and profits
  8. Interpersonal skills
    1. Ability to communicate clearly and lead by example
    2. Work as a team member and think outside the box
    3. Ability to solve problems by suggesting plans and ways to execute with accountability
  9. Work environment
    1. Small office with team work
    2. Occasional paper mill visits
    3. Occasional vendor visits regarding supply of parts
  10. Travel requirements
    1. Occasional customer visits, at first with the company of the VP of Business Development or local sales representative
    2. Pass mill safety program for accident prevention
    3. Wear typical mill work clothes
  11. Work experience background
    1. Prior paper mill employment very valuable
    2. Customer interaction
  12. Educational background
    1. College level courses in mechanics and electronics
    2. College level courses on Communication skills with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
    3. Basic business finance.
    4. Math HS education, community college mechanical or electrical associate degree or MS mechanical engineering degree
