The Projects/Rework Supervisor has general responsibility for coordinating and managing all activities on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for assuring all projects / rework activities are performed in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Responsible for all day-to-day activities of department hourly and salaried staff to meet customer and service requirements.

•Ensure assigned areas are kept clean and orderly and in compliance with the existing 5S program.

•Support training of new associates on the production line. This applies to KN policy as well as customer specific work instructions.

•Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly. 
Work with engineering to assure productivity models are accurate and jobs are profitable. 
*Assure profitability by tracking the daily P&L model and adjusting as required. 
•Assist in maintaining the KNPS program for assigned areas.  
•Conduct operations in accordance with QSHE and OSHA standards. 
•Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion. 
•Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories. 
•Manage Labor Cost associated with the department. 
•Manage EE hours using Kronos.
•Evaluate performance of Supervisors and Leads.
•Ensure efficiency standards are met using Lean techniques. 


•Must have five (5) years of experience in a Manufacturing / Repair environment.
•Experience with BOM, time studies & Ability to do electronics diagnostic and use of electronic test equipment.
•Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
•Quote projects / Reworks
•Successful communication - written and verbal 
•Establish priorities and multi-task
