JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:



This position is responsible for providing both tactical and strategic insight for developing and maintaining the organizations compensation programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with leaders and HR Business Partners to design and align compensation programs with the organizational goals including but not limited to
    • Overall compensation structure (i.e. WTW framework)
    • Executive Compensation (base, bonus, LTI)
    • Base Compensation
    • Bonus Programs
    • Incentive Programs
    • Commissions
  • Provide appropriate support and leadership for annual HR cycles including bonus programs and annual increases
  • Administer the organizations position control program including ensuring appropriate approval for ongoing compensation changes through an approval process
  • Provide reporting regarding out-of-cycle increases and spot bonuses at intervals that align with organizations business cadence
  • Conduct compensation research on an needed basis providing recommendations on ranges, bonuses, and structure
  • Serve on the Standardization Team maintaining the tracks, structures, etc. working closely with leaders and HR Business Partners on education regarding the WTW structure
  • Provide data updates into Market Pay
  • Participate as needed in salary studies ensuring data is migrated into Market Pay
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions ensuring appropriate alignment with the organizations goals, structure and federal and state law
  • Ensure TeamHealth complies with all federal and state laws regarding compensation
  • Complete other duties as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • B.S./B.A. degree in Business or related field;
  • At least five or more years in a comp analyst role;
  • Experience with administering, designing, implementing executive compensation programs;
  • Strong analytical and project management skill;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to get along with others);
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal/written);
  • Excellent computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database management, HRIS)
  • Excellent judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to produce accurate and error free work product;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change;
  • Ability to handle stress and conflict well;
  • Excellent ability to attend to detail and organization skills;
  • Ability to work with minimal direction/supervision;
  • Ability to handle challenging situations and meet deadlines; and
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • None

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Job performed in a well-lighted, modern office setting;
  • Occasional lifting/carrying (20 pounds or less);
  • Occasional standing/bending/stooping/reaching;
  • Prolonged sitting;
  • Prolonged work in a computer/PC;
  • Occasional travel.

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, and fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
