The Digital Product Director will oversee the lifecycle of authenticated patient and provider portals for Naviguard. The role requires a range of skills from market and customer research, data analysis, user experience expertise, and a strong product management background. In collaboration with key stakeholders, the Digital Product Director is responsible for the overall vision of the digital product and managing the role out of this vision into a successful launch.
A successful candidate for this role will be back to seamlessly pivot between strategy and executional work, is flexible and versatile enough to meet evolving business needs, and is a motivated self-starter that is excited to be part of an early stage company building the future of the healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
  • Drive product strategy and delivery for the digital experiences at Naviguard
  • Day-to-day collaboration and decision making with cross-functional agile teams – including architects, developers, scrum master, designers and key business partners
  • Conduct user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers and research teams from end to end of the process.
  • Ability to craft a product vision (short to long term) and convert that into a concrete strategy
  • Participate in market research, validation, and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for new and existing features and functionalities
  • Partner with business owners and agile product teams to build product roadmaps that will be incorporated in to the broader company product portfolio plan
  • Use data pipelines to inform product decisions
  • Defines and analyzes metrics that measure and benchmark product success
  • People manager to Digital Product Owner(s)
Example Deliverables
  • 1-3 year digital roadmap
  • User Journey & pain point analysis
  • Strategy and vision documentation
  • Cost benefit analysis
  • High-level business requirements/feedback facilitation to inform digital experiences
  • Epics/feature definition for Product Owners to turn into user stories for development  
  • Executive level presentations
  • Key Performance Indicator (KPI) documentation and measurement

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 years of combined experience in business, IT or Product
  • 3+ years of experience working on a consumer-facing, digital products
  • 2+ years of experience in the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital user products
  • Experience as a people manager and/or directing a team’s day-to-day work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Agile/Scrum Certified and/or experience working with the agile methodology
  • Experience working in with the product model or in a product organization
  • Health care insurance background
  • Skilled at negotiating to compromise when stakeholders have competing interests
  • Self-starter with the ability to appropriately assess the need for independent decision-making verses leadership escalation
  • Ability to react to product adjustments and expectations promptly and efficiently
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
