Software Developer Lead
Summary: Join a large, growing organization in a leadership capacity within a newly created team! CRG is working to identify 2 candidates to serve as Technical Leaders for performance of monitoring and event management solutions. These opportunities can be either long-term, indefinite contracts, OR contract to permanent roles! In addition, these roles will offer the opportunity to work REMOTE up to 3 days per week (depending on business needs) once fully trained! We are looking for a variety of skillsets (see qualifications below), to include Systems Analysts, Software Developers, or QA Engineers / QA Analysts at a Senior Level.
Compensation: $55 - $70 / hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project life cycle for Monitoring and Event Management Solutions.
  • Own accountability for design solutions and implementations.
  • Estimate, design, build, test, and support monitoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand the best possible monitoring solutions for the technology.
  • Ensure right monitoring and diagnostic tools are in place.
  • Drive adoptions of new technologies, researching technical trends and creative solutions to provide visibility into the health of systematic business processes and supporting ecosystem.
  • Work with the project teams to find technical solutions.
  • Conduct performance testing for existing or new applications and implement technical solutions.
  • Create end to end transaction visibility and dashboard creation for all levels of end users.
  • Set up dashboards and configurations in the tools.
  • Work with internal customers and vendors to achieve optimal monitoring solutions.
  • Provide direction on defining and communication for monitoring standards and guidelines.
  • Recognize and tag proactive indicators for events.
  • Send events to a centralized repository for action.
  • Crosstrain on the tool's diagnostics functions, including measuring patterns, performance, correlations, etc.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Software Developer, or QA Engineer / QA Analyst required.
  • Extensive experience designing, building, testing, and supporting monitoring solutions.
  • Must have technical experience with some of the following tools: Linux, Unix, AIX, Mainframe, Splunk, CA Spectrum, APM, ASM, AXA, UIM, Wily / AppDynamics / Dynatrace / Nagios / BMC BMM Middleware Management / BMC Truesite / BMC Portal/Patrol / Splunk, ELK / Reveille / Silk Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology field highly preferred
  • Ability to manage projects, find solutions, and implement solutions required
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners across a large organization to gather requirements and implement solutions required.
