DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN OR PURSUING A DEGREE IN PSYCHOLOGY OR SOCIAL WORK?
We are seeking individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in one of the "helping professions" such as social services, psychology or mental health. Benchmark provides highly specialized, clinical treatment for adolescent boys who suffer from previous trauma and psychological health issues. You will be assisting our residents with:
- Daily living skills
- Facilitating psychoed groups
- Modeling appropriate social skills
- Assisting with recreation therapy
- Actively monitoring, supervising and interacting
- Promoting positive life skills
We have a comprehensive and experiential training program that will give you all the tools you will need to be successful and effective. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in learning more about mental health first hand as they relate to your studies.
YOU WILL BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF A TEAM OF HIGHLY SKILLED CLINICIANS, PHYSICIANS, EDUCATORS AND NURSING STAFF.
We have the following shifts available:
WEEKEND SHIFT 6:00AM - 10:00 PM Saturday and Sunday
PM Shift - 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday through Friday
FLEX Shift - This is the shift for you if you need a flexible schedule do to school, personal demands, etc. This shift is designed to work around YOUR schedule. This is a 40 hour per week position.

We are considering applicants who meet one of the following criteria:
- Experience working with adolescents in a residential setting
- Undergraduate degree in a human service field
- Working on your undergraduate degree in a human service field
- You can expect to earn between 13.00 and 14.70 per hour based on your experience and qualifications
You must have a strong work ethic, responsible attendance and punctuality and be capable of passing our background check and drug screen requirements.
