Client is seeking an experienced software system administrator to our semiconductor pilot team in Redmond, WA, as a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) administrator. The candidate will play a key role in launching our MES system in our newly established fab. They will configure, train, troubleshoot and maintain the system. The candidate must be proficient with MES or related systems, have a proven track record of program launch and configuration management, and, quantified experience in high tech manufacturing. The candidate must operate in a fast paced environment, be adaptable to change and very customer focused.
- Implement and maintain a new MES platform that supports the end-to-end manufacturing process
- Become the MES data management and input expert
- Create routings from the existing process flows
- Perform daily system support
- Train process engineers on system operation and data input
- Partner with IT to insure system configuration and HW uptime
- Partner with our sister site to support co-learnings
- Work with MES vendor on updates, upgrades and new tool configurations
5+ years experience with various database and database reporting tools including SQL
3+ years experience related technical experience in configuration management or data management roles as the system administrator for ERP, MRP or MES systems
3+ years experience in volume manufacturing environment
3+ Experience with automated factory scheduling systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of the semiconductor process flow, structure and functions.
Data analysis skills – to include working knowledge of statistics, SPC, and DOE.
Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or management information systems, or equivalent technical training and certifications
