LISTED BELOW ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment that includes at least two of the following: electrical, pneumatics, pipe fitting, metal working, plumbing, welding, basic machining, carpentry, painting, and/or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Must be able to read, speak, write and understand written and verbal instructions in English.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.

  • Ability to write and keep records of production information and correspondence in English.

  • Computer skills - Basic data entry


    Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include:

  • Ability to schedule production needs with other responsibilities.

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Mechanical ability to make adjustments and trouble shoot mechanical problems or areas of concern.

  • Ability to learn new process and procedures and be promoted to the next level.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Maintenance Tech position will provide direct support to the manufacturing process through the upkeep and repair of production equipment.

• The primary responsibilities will be electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, TPM, troubleshooting equipment failure, design and fabrication of equipment upgrades.

• Preferred candidate would have experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment including PLC controls, 3-phase power and motor speed controls.

• Candidate should be proficient in basic maintenance skills dealing with troubleshooting, design & fabrication in disciplines involving electrical, pneumatics, pipe fitting, metal working, welding, etc.

• This position will assist with the modification of existing equipment and installation of new production equipment as well as upkeep of the manufacturing facility.

• Able to troubleshoot automated equipment.
Motor skills and manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
Use of measuring instruments, read electronic and mechanical gages, and machine setup devices.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.
