Oracle Design is seeking current undergraduate students and graduating seniors who are looking to enter the exciting world of User Experience (UX) Design in Summer 2023. We are a group of 600+ multi-disciplinary creatives from around the globe, dedicated to making the design profession more accessible and inclusive. **As a UX Design Intern You Will...**

As an Oracle Design UX Intern, you will join a cohort of creative young professionals in our Bay Area and Seattle offices. Throughout the 12-week internship program, you will receive guided mentorship and participate in boot-camp style workshops. Through hands-on participation in group projects, you will deepen your knowledge and practice new skills in a variety of design subject areas including Strategy & Innovation, User Experience & User Interface (UI) Design, Visual/Motion Design, User Research, Prototyping, Design Production, and more.

Upon successful completion of your internship, you'll have the chance to apply for a full-time, paid position that aligns with your interests and skills.

**What You'll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)**

To be considered for an internship position with Oracle Design, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications below. **Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these qualifications** either on your resume and/or by uploading additional documents such as a transcript.

+ Current undergraduate student or graduating senior with a passion for design and interest in entering the UX Design field; extensive design experience is not required as a pre-requisite, and we encourage non-traditional backgrounds (e.g., studying fine art, architecture, psychology, brand and marketing, engineering, etc.)

+ Available full-time, 40 hours per week during the work week (typically 9am-5pm Pacific Time) from May-August 2023, or June-September 2023

+ Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience in a relevant field (excluding internships, research and/or teaching assistant roles, and military experience)

+ Attend a university in the US

+ Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2023

**About You (Preferred Qualifications)**

+ Emerging creative professional with a passion for creating experiences for a diverse community of users

+ Excited to bring your unique voice and perspective to Oracle Design's creative team

+ Inquisitive and open-minded, collaborative and an exciting teammate

+ Interested in becoming a fantastic storyteller: passionate about improving your creative techniques to tell a compelling story

+ You don't already know everything, and love to learn; you're open to consuming quantitative and qualitative data to refine your assumptions

+ Have deep empathy and a passion for understanding people, uncovering their values and unspoken needs, and designing solutions with these values and needs at the heart of it all

+ You may have learned your craft through formal training in school or passion projects and hobbies.

+ Have specific skills, or the desire to grow your abilities in one or more of the following areas: Strategy & Innovation, UX & UI Design, Visual/Motion Design, User Research, Prototyping, Design Production, and more

+ You might currently be studying, or enrolled in coursework in one or more of the following areas: user experience, graphic/visual design, motion design, game design animation, photography, behavioral science, interface design, multimedia design and technology, entrepreneurship courses, product design, industrial design, human factors, design thinking, information design, civil engineering, service design, or other relevant coursework

+ Your major(s) could include Product Design, Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Media Arts, Visual Communications, Computer Science, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Behavioral Science, Content Design, and more **(if you're a creative problem solver and wanting to explore a career in UX, and don't see your major listed here, please still apply!)**

+ **Share your design portfolio or 2-3 examples of design-related work you're most proud of.** Highlight your ability to work with teams, think outside of the box, think strategically, and communicate through a visual medium. These examples can be pulled from school projects, passion projects, or from any other previous work experience.

**Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)**

California Pay Range: from $29.86 to $58.17 per hour; from $62,100 to $121,000 per annum.

Colorado Pay Range: from $28.22 to $52.36 per hour; from $58,700 to $108,900 per annum.

New York City Pay Range: from $28.22 to $55.24 per hour; from $58,700 to $114,900 per annum.

Washington Pay Range: from $31.54 to $55.24 per hour; from $65,600 to $114,900 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
