Description

  • Lead and manage a team of three finance professionals, overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Develop and monitor financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to ownership and senior leadership, offering actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operational leaders to monitor project costs, profitability, and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and efficiency enhancements within financial operations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to ownership on financial strategy, investments, and growth opportunities.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, preferably in the NYC market.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, and teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to managing challenges.
