IT Director • Manages the development and delivery of effective, stable and secure IT services aligned to the company and groups business requirements • Leads, directs and develops the IT organization at the OEG Warren/Easton/Newton Aycliffe sites (OEG Segment). • Responsible for all aspects of IT service delivery including business and manufacturing applications, networks, telecommunications, databases, Development, systems integration and staff management, o Collaborates with the corporate organization in the delivery of global services, projects and infrastructure. o Collaborates with Production and Engineering in support of operations, testing, engineering data analytics • The scope of Scope of responsibility within the OEG Group includes for this position: OEG Easton, OEG Warren, Compound Semiconductors initially • Oversees IT Infrastructure / Service delivery for II-VI within the Northeast Region (e.g. AMD) Must Have • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related; • 10-15 years of experience leading an IT organization for an enterprise or significant subsidiary; • Significant experience in project management, infrastructure, service delivery and supporting applications for semiconductor fabrication and device-manufacturing; • Expert in the selection, implementation and support of Manufacturing Execution Systems and in the integration of Machine Interfaces / data collection; • Strong experience in systems development life cycle. Should Have • Experience in designing and supporting High Availability platforms and services and building fault tolerant infrastructure and applications. • Proven ability to recruit, hire, and manage a high performancing IT Team. • Exposure with Manufacturing Operations Management systems (e.g. Yield tracking Management, Cycle time monitoring ) • Exposure to state of the market ERP systems and the integration of ERP, MES and supporting operational applications. • Global IT Leadership experience; Exposure to projects in support of global operations; ? Nice to Have • Exposure to Analytical tools and techniques typically in used by production engineering for semiconductor development and production • Previous exposure to existing and planned application system (e.g. Mapics SAP, Mesa and Camstar) • Past experience in software engineering, or in oversight of development, in a number of applicable technologies for example o Relational and non-relational Databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and Big Data, including scalability and performance elements o Languages such as C#, C, ASP.NET, Web Service, XML, JavaScript, Python, R on Microsoft and Linux platforms. o Object Oriented Programming skills o Programming interactions with hardware devices and Inter-equipment communication using SECS/GEM protocol
