Lead Digital Product Manager (Agile Enablement and Digital Services)

SDI-Agile Enablement Office (SDI-AEO) in Enterprise Agile and Customer Journey Transformation group is seeking an experienced and savvy Agile Enablement and Digital Release Services Manager to help us adopt Wells Fargo's agile practices. This role will draw upon deep technical, business, and transformation skills to facilitate strong partnerships between business and technology organizations and team members. The successful candidate will actively work with Scrum teams, partner with delivery managers and product stakeholders, and help us continually improve and evolve our organization towards great products and services focus on value delivery. You will partner with lines of business and technology partners in designing and managing an agile adoption plan that connects to broader organizational strategy and OKRs. You will guide team members at all levels, to adopt new ways of thinking and working.

You will also focus on overseeing release management activities for feature delivery on the Digital platforms (Public Site, Online Sales Platform, Online Banking, Mobile, Digital Payments, Alerts and Messaging, In-Language, Fraud and Authentication). You will be engaged throughout the full delivery life-cycle and will serve as the single point of contact related to the release management activities for the delivery managers, technology, quality assurance, and production support partners.

This role will require collaboration across a complex matrixed organization and the ability to lead towards organization-wide agile adoption.

The successful candidate will have experience managing large-scale efforts and a significantly sized project team responsible for project management and/or software development. The candidate must be able to respond to a variety of project management needs in a fast-paced environment and communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization. You will be customer-focused and help set the right expectations to ensure work is of high quality.

Roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Accountable for collaborating across scrum teams to support release management and risk management of the Digital portfolio.
  • Partners with scrum teams in the management of release capacity and release risks.
  • Support oversight of release adherence to compliance and regulatory reporting.
  • Builds and implements strategies to improve release services efficiency.
  • Support business teams in establishing a product vision and preparing the backlog.
  • Partner with business and technology partners in designing and managing to a transformation roadmap.
  • Guide product teams in adopting Wells Fargo's Agile Scaling Framework.
  • Support managers and leaders in creating and adapting the agile environment in which teams operate.
  • Guide stakeholders through the execution of agile efforts while satisfying regulatory and risk requirements.
  • Collaborate and contribute to enterprise agile communities to support the evolution of agile tools and techniques.
  • Guide transformational change with managers, programs, and team levels, in a large matrixed organization, helping them see broader perspectives, and shift mindset to adopt new skills associated with self-governing teams.
  • Enable teams in tracking and monitoring of metrics and reporting to facilitate inspect and adapt.
  • Utilize maturity assessments to continually evolve to drive sustainable agile transformation, and to provide feedback on the utilization on processes, tools and techniques to improve adoption and usage.
Candidate should be a self-starter, eager to learn and continue to grow and develop professionally, able to multi-task, work extremely well under tight deadlines, and be comfortable working with large, multi-disciplined technology and business teams.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting
  • 7+ years of Agile experience
Desired Qualifications
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Financial services experience
  • 10+ years of program or project management experience
  • Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Agile Scrum (CSM), SAFE certifications or other advanced Agile certifications
Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to manage and successfully execute several major initiatives simultaneously and prioritize effectively, in an environment which has a continual sense of urgency
  • Experience organizing and leading large-scale initiatives within a matrixed organization
  • Strong communication skills that include coaching, mentoring, motivating, and influencing
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle, deployment, and release processes
  • Experience with digital platforms and product or customer interaction platforms highly desired
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships and to lead and influence across functional groups
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • High comfort level with ambiguity
