Vaco is looking for a Staff Accountant with extensive real estate experience to fill a position at a top-ranked company in Culver City. Review and preparation of monthly bank loan draw requests and accompanying schedules for multiple projects.
Prepare budget vs. actual on a monthly basis and as needed.
Maintain accounting books and records for multiple entities in accordance with GAAP.
Preparation of monthly financial statements.
Maintain and reconcile fixed assets and various accounting schedules.
Process monthly payments.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
Various accounting tasks as assigned.
Handling administrative and accounting oriented duties and responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree or some college courses in accounting or business preferred.
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy and knowledge of Quickbooks and YARDI.
Excellent communication skills with a professional, service-oriented attitude.
Attention to detail and inquisitive-minded.
Ability to multi-task and handle numerous functions.
Results-oriented and ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment.
Aptitude for being a highly functioning team member.
Takes ownership in ensuring the integrity, security and accountability of financial accounts and records.
