Management position, is responsible for overseeing and executing food service operations training to current and future staff. Oversees and manages food service operations where inmate staff prepares, cooks and serves for inmate population from a cycled menu. Will be ensuring operations run smoothly and provide training and help develop employees.
Leadership:Influence Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential. Reward and recognize employees. Ensure individual and team performance meets objectives and client expectations. Plan and lead daily shield briefings. Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations. Supervise and train inmate workers. Mentor newly hired employees.
Client Relationship:Maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships. Identify client needs and communicate operational progress. Demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model.
Productivity: Provide support to General Manager, Food Service Director, and Food Service Manager. Create value through efficient operations and efficient training. Comply with the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives. Ensure entire team is trained and be able to execute operational fundamentals. Supervise team regarding production and service operations in order to ensure quality control.
Compliance:Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees. Comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, and wage and hour. Ensure that all Correctional policies and procedures are followed. Utilizes a variety of effective training methodologies and should have demonstrated enthusiasm for training in order to motivate others to learn.

- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- Minimum 2 years as a manager or trainer.
- Solid track record of success in previous assignments demonstrating upward career tracking.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be dependable, reliable and motivated.
- Able to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and circumstances
